It is the dawn of a new day in New England. After the team’s second consecutive losing season, owner Robert Kraft has brought in some key changes, such as appointing former linebacker Mike Vrabel to the position of Head Coach. The team has begun to build their roster up by adding key pieces and the offense received a much-needed shot in the arm by signing Stefon Diggs.

The wide receiver signed a three-year deal worth $69 million, with $26 million of it guaranteed. Now that Diggs is a Patriot, an iconic video of owner Robert Kraft has resurfaced. The video features Cardi B dancing with the 83-year-old billionaire at the Super Bowl LIII party.

Rumors of Cardi B and Stefon Diggs dating have been swirling around for months. News emerged that the two got close when the rapper was pregnant with her latest child in September 2024.

Texts between them leaked and indicated that there was something in the air between Diggs and Cardi B. While there has been no confirmation from either of them with respect to the current status of their relationship, the rap star is widely being recognized as Stefon Diggs’s girlfriend.

Robert Kraft was in Atlanta in the days leading up to Super Bowl LIII. Cardi B, who had turned down a chance to perform at the halftime show of the big game, was present there, too, along with other artists such as Meek Mill and Offset. They were all in attendance for Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party at the College Football Hall of Fame, and Cardi B decided to cheer the attendees up by performing her hit songs.

However, an unexpected sight greeted those present there. An 83-year-old Robert Kraft dressed in a hoodie and a pair of jeans began to vibe with her performance, and he broke out his moves! Mr. Kraft did not hold back as he showed that age was no bar to having fun. As Cardi B performed, he broke out a few steps and sent the crowd into a frenzy.

As he stepped onto the dance floor, rapper Offset got excited and began to cheer for him, as did Cardi B, who was dressed in Louis Vuitton pajamas. The owner was on top of the world because his team was en route to win its sixth Super Bowl under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

The Patriots are prioritizing improving their offense during free agency

Head Coach Mike Vrabel has been making a push to sign top receivers in an attempt to provide Drake Maye with the right weapons. One of the first players they pursued was Chris Godwin, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made sure to keep their star in Florida by offering him a lucrative deal. This led New England to seek Stefon Diggs.

Ex-Patriot Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson may have had a hand in the team signing Diggs. He put out a tweet after news emerged of the wide receiver’s visit to Foxboro, suggesting that he would be a great fit there.

Stefon Diggs visiting Foxboro, one leg or two legs, f*** it no legs at all, he’s gonna be open when give said opportunities, would be a superb locker room presence for the young QB & WR’s.

Chad Johnson tweeted

Kraft heard him loud and clear as Stefon Diggs inked his deal with the Patriots after. The owner has been looking forward to making key changes to the franchise in an attempt to revive its glory.

The Drake Maye X Stefon Diggs connection will be interesting to watch. Maye showed promise in his rookie season, and that influenced the four-time Pro Bowler to sign with New England. After a short-lived season in Houston, which ended due to an ACL tear, Diggs will hope to have a solid comeback and prove that he is just as good a player, if not better, than before he went down.
