Ever since Tom Brady left the New England Patriots, Josh Allen and his Buffalo Bills have seemingly taken over the mantle of being the AFC East’s best team.
The last time the Patriots won the division was the last time the seven-time Super Bowl winner donned their jersey. From the 2020 season up until the 2024 season, it was the Bills that dominated.
This season, they were widely expected to do the same, as the Patriots were coming off a 4-13 season. The thought process was that new head coach Mike Vrabel would likely take this season as one where he analyzes the squad and suggests changes for the 2026 campaign.
On top of that, once Patrick Mahomes ended his season with an injury, and both Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow struggled with theirs, along with a disappointing run of form, everyone believed that Josh Allen and his Bills would have an easy path to the Super Bowl.
All along this time, the Patriots put together a run of wins that placed them at the top of the AFC East. Now, with Super Bowl 60 on the horizon, it is Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel who are preparing for the big game instead of the season favorites.
You know who is not having a Super Bowl send-off today: Bills Mafia! All the tables in Buffalo are safe.

This was Scott Zolak, the New England Patriots radio network’s color analyst. He drew a cheer from the crowd, as it was finally their time, and not a team that had taken their spot at the top of the division for half a decade.
Patriots head coach issues rallying cry
This entire incident occurred when the fans gathered at Gillette Stadium for the Patriots’ Super Bowl 60 send-off rally. After the PR members welcomed them in, owner Robert Kraft addressed the team as well as the fans. Then, he called upon head coach Mike Vrabel.

Warriors! Come out and play!!
Mike Vrabel yelled
This was the 50-year-old reiterating the rallying cry his team embraced since the Divisional round. Right from the time they faced the Houston Texans to now, many claimed that the Patriots were beneficiaries of having an easy schedule.

By invoking this cry, Vrabel was essentially taunting the Seattle Seahawks, as the latter are 4.5-point favorites to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Levi’s Stadium next Sunday.
With every analytical page giving the Patriots less than a 40% chance of winning the game, Vrabel knows that nothing less than several rallying cries is needed if his players have to believe in themselves.
Stefon Diggs adds another rallying chant for his Patriots
Mike Vrabel was not the only one to issue a rallying cry to his team and fans. When star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, one of the loudest voices in that locker room, was called upon, he said:
Want to say, a huge shoutout to our fans. Pats nation, y’all did a great job. We got one more to go… It’s time to get after it… We all we got!! We all we need!!
Stefon Diggs said
Every time the 32-year-old belted out the first part of this chant, the fans gathered responded unanimously. It was as if the entire city of Foxborough was united.

Diggs and his Patriots know they will be facing a Seattle Seahawks team that is rightfully looked at as the favorite over them. They won their division, despite being the toughest in the league, and have one of the league’s best defenses.
On top of that, if Sam Darnold plays the way he did in the NFC Championship game, the Patriots will have a task at their hands, trying to match him on every score.
