In a heavyweight clash between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins, the Canadian outfit emerged as 4-0 winners. This turned out to be their first win in nine regular season games against their rivals. Paul Bissonnette did not miss the opportunity to hype up the Maple Leafs with this win.
The former NHL star is an avid fan of the Maple Leafs. On several occasions, he has even gone against his Spittin’ Chiclets co-host Ryan Whitney to support the Leafs.
A feisty first period saw tempers boil over as Brad Marchand got into a tangle with Chris Tanev after the defenseman took out David Pastrnak. The breakthrough came in the second period as Morgan Rielly scored on the powerplay.
This was one of the three power-play goals the Leafs would score in the game. An empty netter from Steven Lorentz came as the icing on the cake for them.
Taking to his X account to celebrate the win, “Biz Nasty” would hype up the team as “Kings of Ontario” and urged the Maple Leafs fanbase to enjoy this victory.
Leafs fans, you’re allowed to enjoy the good times. Don’t feel bad for enjoying tonight. We’ll beat the Bruins for the first time in 9 games and we’re still the kings of Ontario. Take a victory lap. Sweet dreams Leafs Nation. #LeafsForever

Bruins HC Jim Montgomery admits team did not execute their powerplay well in 4-0 loss against the Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs entered the ice rink on Tuesday night without their captain Auston Matthews. After suffering a lower-body injury, he was ruled out of the game. Despite his absence, the Maple Leafs found a way to win. Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery later admitted that his team did not execute their powerplay well.
The Maple Leafs’ first three goals came from the powerplay. On the other hand, the Bruins wasted several chances and went 0-6 while having men’s advantage. This was one area where the Leafs did better than the Bruins according to Montgomery.
