Former NHL star Paul Bissonnette recently found himself in a dangerous situation. The analyst was assaulted by a group of six to seven men in a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand caught the attention of this and made fun of him.

During the game between the Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins, Marchand was interviewed in the middle of the game by the NHL on TNT crew. “Biz Nasty” was a part of this and tried to poke fun at the veteran forward.

Marchand had a few off-season surgeries. The former Phoenix Coyotes star tried to joke with Marchand regarding a potential hair transplant while asking about this. “Did one of the offseason surgeries include a Turkish hair transplant?” Bissonnette asked.

This led to a hilarious reaction from Marchand who brought up the assault of Bissonnette recently.

Marchand has often been called a “pest” in the NHL for his actions both on and off the ice. He has also many times got into a chirping incident with Biz Nasty and has made fun of him live on air. The two of them have had a lighthearted and playful relationship over the years gone by.

After Brad Marchand poked fun at Paul Bissonnette‘s attack, Dallas Star’s Matt Duchene stepped up for him. The veteran NHLer praised Bissonnette for his actions during the assault in Arizona.

The 33-year-old claimed he and the hockey world were proud of the way Bissonnette handled the situation. The analyst would later thank him for his kind words and jokingly urged him to have a talk with Marchand regarding this. The centre player would hilariously claim that the duo of him and Marchand unintentionally played the good cop, bad cop game.

Speaking of the assault incident, the group of men who attacked Bissonnette had been identified. As per reports, they have been released from prison. Bissonnette has vowed to do everything in his power to “ruin” his assaulters and called them a “scum on the earth” in a statement on X.
