The latest episode of Raw featured the continuation of the #1 contender’s tournament for the World Tag Team Championship. The New Day went face-to-face with the Authors of Pain, and the match featured plenty of interference from the rest of The Final Testament, as well as The Miz and R-Truth. The post-match shenanigans even saw The Wyatt Sicks getting involved.
The match ended in a chaotic fashion, with nearly everyone at ringside getting involved in the match. Eventually, New Day emerged victorious and proceeded to the next round of the tournament. However, after the match, The Final Testament began beating down Truth. Kofi Kingston tried to go in to save him, but Xavier Woods pulled him away, claiming that he was not their teammate.
It was Truth’s lucky day, as the lights soon went out, and the Wyatt Sicks came out to attack The Final Testament. They even powerbombed Dexter Lumis into the Authors of Pain. The Miz hid in the ring to avoid the attack and thought that he had escaped the worst of it. He got up and straightened out his suit jacket. However, Uncle Howdy suddenly appeared behind the A-Lister.
Uncle Howdy went straight for The Miz with a mandible claw. However, Paul Ellering pushed the former WWE Champion out of the way and became the victim of the claw himself. Bo Dallas’ alter-ego didn’t seem to mind the change in the victim as he continued to apply the hold to the Hall of Famer until he lay motionless on the ground.
It is unclear why Ellering sacrificed himself for the 2x Grand Slam Champion. The Final Testament seems to be trying to get into the good graces of the wrestling veteran and perhaps recruit him into the faction. In fact, Karrion Kross seemed to be a huge factor when it came to motivating the 44-year-old to betray R-Truth.
Bo Dallas reveals Bray Wyatt hand-picked each member of the Wyatt Sicks
Bo Dallas is doing his best to honor the legacy of his deceased brother through the Wyatt Sicks. While it was apparent that the faction is a continuation of the Uncle Howdy storyline that Bray Wyatt was responsible for, his connection to the group runs much deeper than anyone initially anticipated.

Speaking to USA Today, Dallas revealed that Wyatt had handpicked all members of the faction himself. He chose these superstars in particular because they were all people that he wanted to work with. Unfortunately, the Eater of Worlds passed away before he could appear on WWE programming alongside them.
Dallas also revealed that a lot of the story elements related to the Wyatt Sicks were either written directly by the former Universal Champion or stemmed from an idea that he had. Thus, the group members often make sure to pay their tribute to Wyatt.
