Paul George pausing podcasting amidst Sixers’ horrible season has fans to flaming out: “You 4 months late!”
Paul George has been operating a successful podcast remotely despite joining the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason.

Paul George has paused his podcast after backlash over Philadelphia 76ers misery
Paul George signed with the Philadelphia 76ers this past offseason with two goals. One was to join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to win an NBA title. The other was to earn a four-year contract, something no other team was willing to give him.
George is all of 34 years old and teams were wary of his history with injuries. The Los Angeles Clippers did not want to hand him that fourth year and then looked for trade partners. He apparently wanted to go to the Golden State Warriors, but the Clippers weren’t willing to send him to a conference rival.
Then he landed with the Philadelphia 76ers and suddenly, everyone felt the team was capable of unseating the Boston Celtics. However, 58 games in, that has not panned out. The team are 20-38 after their ninth straight loss earlier today.
When they had only lost two straight this month, a report came out that Paul George had more podcast clips active than field goals this season, a fact check of which turned out to be true. This led fans to obliterate him as his motivation came into question. A couple of days earlier, he announced this.
I want to let the Podcast P family know that after today’s episode with Dwight I plan to take a break from the Pod just to focus on getting my body right getting mentally right.

He mentioned this towards the end of the last episode of Podcast P with Paul George where they had Dwight Howard as a guest. The forward added that he is doing this to bring back the focus to his time with the team and try and compete for a championship.
Fans slam Pau George for late podcast decision
Fans watching this clip though went berserk. They felt it was far too late to take this call. They also believe he is now pausing his podcast after all the brickbats he has received. Had that not happened, fans feel Paul George would have continued his usual course.
They would have preferred had he paused the podcast a couple of months earlier when there was still a chance. Now they believe his lack of attention has pushed the team to a position where there is no possibility of a comeback. Check out examples of such comments below.

After the season is essentially over, Paul George announces he will be solely prioritizing basketball over his podcast to get back in shape.

I am at a loss for words. You can’t even make up how insane this Sixers season has been.

Paul George’s only task was to not be a bigger loser than Tobias Harris (the lowest the bar could ever be) and he couldnt even do that.

The Sixers should have stepped in to ensure he’s out there playing basketball instead of sitting around on Podcast P 🤷♂️

• Does he know which sport he plays?
• Does he know the team he plays on?
• Does he know the record they have?
• Does he know that he’s washed?
Wow that first podcast back after getting eliminated from playoff contention in 2 weeks is gonna be lit

Stephen A. Smith recently suggested that 9-time All-Star joined the Philadelphia 76ers just for the money. After fans caught him vacationing with his wife in between this mess of a season, it just compounded matters for Paul George.
