During an interview with reporter Adam Berry, Morgan talked about how he and the other perceive Skenes since the start of his baseball career till his now fandom.

Everybody on the team knew he was the sickest,” Morgan noted. Skenes not only became the No.1 overall prospect in 2023 but now is also the first rookie for Pirates to be named in the All-Star Game. Furthermore, he created MLB history by getting his name in the 2024 Game spotlight after only a year of being the No.1 prospect.

Likewise, Bryan Renolds’ impressive performance with the Pirates granted him his All-Star place. He said “It was one of my goals,” as having been named one means “you’re probably having a good year” according to him.
