Manchester City has struggled in recent times and their woes knew no end as they were trampled over by Liverpool in their latest Premier League fixture on Sunday. However, during the clash, an unexpected thing happened when the Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola made a six-finger gesture at Anfield.
Pep Guardiola opened up in the post-match presser against Liverpool and was asked about his gesture aimed at the fans in Anfield. He said that he had heard chants of getting sacked, from the Liverpool fans. However, in a totally unprovoked incident he also mentioned Jose Mourinho, calling himself better given the superiority of the numbers but also likened himself and the Portuguese manager in terms of their flair.

Jose Mourinho lifted three fingers against the Chelsea fans to remind them that he won three Premier League with the Blues. It was during his stint with Manchester United and the forthcoming days didn’t really bode well for him. United’s consistent decline saw him getting the axe. Guardiola clarified that with him, the situation is different considering a higher number of laurels that he has garnered over the years at the Etihad Stadium.
Here’s why Jose Mourinho yanked his assistant during Fenerbahce’s latest clash
In a funny incident during Fenerbahce’s clash against Gaziantep, Jose Mourinho was seen dragging his assistant, Zeki Murat to get necessary formalities in place in order to introduce Mert Muldur. After an early strike from Oguz Aydin, things got shaky for Fenerbahce as David Okereke restored parity for Gaziantep in the 41st minute.
When it felt like Fenerbahce might just drop points, Rodrigo Becao provided them an all-important second goal and Zeki Murat went frenetic with his teammates in celebration.
However, Mourinho was having none of that as his focus was to get the substitution on and hence, he had to yank Murat by his collar to bring him into the scope of work. The fans had a good laugh and were also happy at the end of the match as Fenerbahce secured the bragging rights of the game by 3-1.
