Peyton Manning, who is known as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, had quite a rocky start in the NFL. Back in 1998, as he entered the football field as Indianapolis Colts quarterback, he threw 28 interceptions– the highest count by a rookie quarterback in the history of the NFL.

Although he went on to win two Super Bowl rings, that infamous interception record remains with him even today. Now, Manning wants someone to break his record by recording 29 interceptions in his rookie year. But he also said that he does not wish for such a bad start for his former team Cleveland Browns’ rookie Bo Nix

I played as a rookie, that was not a fun year, it’s well-documented how many interceptions that I threw. If any one of these rookies want to break my interception record I’d be for it. I don’t want Bo to break it, but I’d like to get that one off my resume. You’d think with 17 games they’d be able to do it. It’s 28. It shouldn’t be that hard. But anyway, I’m over it.
said Peyton Manning at a charity event last week

Except for naming whom he doesn’t want to break his infamous record, Manning didn’t mention or hint at any rookie quarterbacks whom he believes can break it. While there are many quarterbacks in the spotlight since their draft prediction, Caleb Williams is aiming for the highest star at the Chicago Bears as he desires to be one of the greatest quarterbacks in the league.

In fact, Williams’ playing style is inspired by Brady and four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, whom he admired the most growing up and learned from both of their playing style and leadership.
