With all the excitement surrounding the PFL Dubai main event, both Usman Nurmagomedov and Paul Hughes are expected to receive substantial payouts and salaries.
The highly anticipated headliner event is primarily billed as another showdown between Dagestan and Ireland. In their last encounter, UFC superstars Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor faced off against each other. As for his upcoming match against Hughes, considering PFL’s tendency to reward fighters generously, Usman could potentially earn a significant amount again, in the range of $250,000 – $300,000.
Salary of Paul Hughes for his PFL Dubai: Champion Series title fight
Paul Hughes, like Usman Nurmagomedov, has an impressive fight record, with only one loss in his professional MMA career. That loss occurred in 2020. Since then, Hughes has made a remarkable comeback and is currently riding a seven-fight win streak. Most recently, he secured a narrow victory against former Bellator champion A.J. McKee at PFL Super: Battle of the Giants.
Interestingly, for his victory over McKee, Hughes earned just over $200,000 for his impressive performance. With a lot at stake in his upcoming fight against Usman, the Irishman may get a payout from $200,000 – $250,000 after the PFL event in Dubai. Additionally, ahead of the fight, the fan bases of both headliners already had a confrontation.
Moreover, if ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor decides to show up to support the Irish prospect, there are speculations about another potential brawl during the fight.
