Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is returning to MMA soon. He will fight Anthony Joshua in a boxing bout on 08 March. The Professional Fighter’s League announced Ngannou’s debut matchup ahead of the fight. The ‘Predator’ would face the winner of the Renan Ferreira vs. Ryan Bader, which will go down as the main event of the PFL vs. Bellator champions’ fight card.

In an interview with ESPN, Francis Ngannou stated his intentions to return to MMA after his boxing stint with Anthony Joshua. As such, he eyed a matchup with the winner of Renan Ferreira vs Ryan Bader. Soon, the PFL officially announced the fight with a teaser on their social platforms.

Renan Ferreira (PFL champion) vs. Ryan Bader (Bellator Champion) headline the PFL vs. Bellator fight card this weekend. To up the stakes, the PFL has announced the winner, a fight with the heavyweight superstar Francis Ngannou. While Ferreira had just won the PFL title through the promotion’s heavyweight tournament, Bader reigned as the longest champion in the Bellator.

As for ‘The Predator,’ he was the UFC champion before parting ways with the fight promotion. Then, he faced the boxing great Tyson Fury in a showdown in Saudi Arabia. Although he lost the fight via Split decision, he knocked down Fury and gave him his toughest test.

Now, ‘The Predator’ will take on another boxing champion, Anthony Joshua. As such, a win could earn him a title shot in boxing. But, he eyed a MMA return soon. Everything depends on the result of Renan Ferreira vs. Ryan Bader this weekend and ‘The Predator’ vs. Joshua in March.

Ahead of the fight, the PFL announced Ngannou’s promotional debut against the winner of Renan Ferreira vs. Ryan Bader. This fight headlines the PFL vs. Bellator Superfights.
