There will be a major part in the City of Brotherly Love tonight. The Philadelphia Eagles overcame the demons of their past and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl rematch. Their win brought out a 3-word reaction from the Philadelphia Phillies.
Two years ago the Eagles had their hearts broken as the Chiefs edged out as 38-35 winners in Super Bowl LVII. Coming into this match, their goal was to avenge that loss and stop their opponents from three-peating the championship.
The Eagles came flying in this game. Led by QB Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia-based outfit raced to a 24-0 lead at halftime.
They eventually won the game by a handsome margin of 18 points as they defeated the Chiefs 40-22. This turned out to be their second Super Bowl triumph in the past eight years.
The Philadelphia Phillies had been rooting for their fellow city team. Just before the game, they would share a photo of their superstar Bryce Harper in an Eagles jersey.
