Phoenix Suns rally past Houston Rockets 133-130 being led by Devin Booker

All 5 starters of the Phoenix Suns scored in double digits as the away team won their 6th straight game after beating Houston Rockets 133-130. Devin Booker led the Suns with 36 points, out of which 18 of those came in the last quarter. Deandre Ayton matched his season high 27 points, while Chris Paul scored an impressive double-double with 19 points and 11 assists.
Talking about the Houston Rockets, Christian Wood scored 23 points and Kelly Olynyk finished with 21. Kevin Porter Jr. had 20 points in Houston Rockets’ fifth consecutive loss. The team missed its marquee John Wall for the 4th consecutive game due to left knee injury.

Phoenix led 101-92 after three quarters, but Houston opened the fourth with a 9-0 run. Houston trailed by nine again with a minute left. But Jae’Sean Tate and Kelly Olynyk made back-to-back 3s for the Rockets. Phoenix has now won three straight against Houston following a 13-game skid in the series.
Christian Wood made two free throws to cut the Suns’ lead to one with 3.5 seconds remaining. Booker hit two free throws, and Houston’s inbounds pass was deflected to end the game.
With this win the Phoenix Suns are not far behind from Utah Jazz, especially after the latter team lost against Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks. Having said that the in-form Phoenix Suns would be facing the NBA leading Jazz in their next encounter.
