Devin Booker surely knew how to fetch the applause from the 3,000 fans who came to witness the battle between Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers. With a 17-foot jumper, Booker beat the clock to go into the half, earning a huge roar form the fans. To close down the 3rd quarter, he shot a another huge 3-pointer which got an even bigger applause from the crowd. Booker ended the game with 34 points for the Phoenix Suns.
Talking about the Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard, managed to knock only 1 from downtown form his 7 attempts, managing to score only 24 points. Portland has lost two straight following a six-game winning streak. The Suns improved to 20-10 on the season while the Portland Trail Blazers fell to 18-12.
Phoenix Suns outscore Portland Trail Blazers 69-46 in second half to win big
Phoenix Suns has won nine of its past 10 games and put this one away late in the third quarter with a fast flurry. Booker made his 3-pointer with two seconds remaining and then following a quick Portland turnover, Cam Johnson hit another 3 at the buzzer to give the Suns a 100-71 lead.
This 32-point victory for the Suns is the biggest in this season. Booker poured in points all night, scoring 17 as the Phoenix Suns pushed ahead 32-26 in the first quarter.
