In December, Cincinnati Bengals superstar Joe Burrow’s home was burglarized, costing him several valuable possessions.

Joe Burrow is at New Orleans for the NFL Honors night ahead of Super Bowl LIX. He would have preferred if he was not part of the occasion. Instead, he would have been happier if his Cincinnati Bengals were one of the teams preparing for the big game.
The superstar QB has had a great year statistically. However, he too knows there were a lot of things he and his team could have done differently. Had they done everything correctly, it could have been Burrow leading his teammates against the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was focused to help his team reach the playoffs and was away at Dallas to win a game. He and his team won the game, but after that, he received a call that shook his life. His house was burglarized by a group of robbers, and they left with a lot of cash, jewelry and other expensive items.
Almost two months later, authorities have tracked down and arrested those robbers. They were a South American theft group consisting of four young men. When authorities released their pictures, some of them were from their own phones.

In one of those pictures, the thieves are seen wearing Burrow’s jewelry. One of them was wearing his watch and jewelry while posing on his bed. Police have recovered $300K worth of stolen items. Now they are charging the group under federal crimes.
Police arrested them in Clark County and found an LSU shirt and Bengals hat in their SUV. FBI Cincinnati and the United States District Attorney’s office in Ohio believe the arrested men are just the ‘tip of the iceberg’.
Joe Burrow has another win during NFL Honors night
The police arresting and returning $300k worth of his items was a major victory for Joe Burrow. But during NFL Honors night, he was in the running for another win. The NFL announced that he was this season’s Comeback Player of the Year.

He is winning the award for the second time in his career. That makes him just the second player in NFL history to win it twice. He did mention before that it is not an award that he preferred to have his name on. Rather, he wants to eventually win the NFL MVP award and a Super Bowl.

For that to happen, the Cincinnati Bengals will have to fix several key issues their team showed. To start with, they could work to sign both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, just like their superstar quarterback mentioned a few hours before winning Comeback Player of the Year.
