Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Varun Chakravarthy who had a terrific 2020 with the ball tied his knot today with his long-time girlfriend Neha Khedekar. The year was arguably the offie’s breakout year as he picked up 17 wickets for his IPL franchise before earning his first national call-up for India’s tour of Australia in the T20 squad.

Fitness issues and a shoulder injury however, kept him from traveling with the team with him being replaced by fellow Tamil Nadu bowler T Natarajan who went on to take the world by storm with his excellent performances in the tour. Chakravarthy will however, hope to come back strong and earn his first national cap in the series to come.

The marriage of Varun Chakravarthy and Neha Khedekar was scheduled for early 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the postponement of the same. Neha spent the lockdown in Maharashtra while Varun was in Chennai before he traveled to the UAE to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
