Prominent British television host and broadcaster Piers Morgan has thrown his support for Novak Djokovic after his recent controversy at Wimbledon. He stated that the Serbian’s actions were understandable and praised him for standing up for himself.
Morgan was reacting to a viral video in which Djokovic can be seen walking out of a BBC interview in frustration. Repeated questions surrounding his on-court comments about the Wimbledon crowd made the World No. 2 snap at the interviewer and end the interview abruptly.
The Brit has stated that Djokovic deserves to be respected and also pointed out that he was not willing to bottle up his emotions anymore. In a social media post, he expressed his interest in interviewing the 37-year-old and assured him that he would be treated better on this show.
Djokovic is being a monumental d*ck at Wimbledon this year, and I’m all here for it. He deserves way more respect than he gets, from fans & media, and he’s obviously bored with pretending he’s OK with it.

Let’s do an interview, Novak Djokovic. I won’t treat you like this.

Djokovic, who reached his 60th Grand Slam quarterfinal, is currently aiming to equal Roger Federer’s haul of eight Wimbledon titles this fortnight.
Novak Djokovic dodges De Minaur bullet and will face Lorenzo Musetti for a spot in the Wimbledon final
After a couple of days of drama, Novak Djokovic was provided some relief on Wednesday (July 10) as his quarterfinal opponent Alex de Minaur withdrew from the tournament ahead of their match.
De Minaur suffered an injury in his previous match against Arthur Fils during the last stages of the encounter. He announced that he was unable to compete against the seven-time champion and spoke of jarring his hip in the closing stages of his wins against Fils.
Djokovic will face Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals after the Italian secured one of the biggest wins of his career against American No. 1 Taylor Fritz on Center Court. The pair have met twice at Grand Slam events, both at Roland Garros (2021 and 2024). On both occasions, the Serbian came out on top. The 24-time Grand Slam champion also leads Musetti 5-1 in the head-to-head.
