The latest episode of SmackDown saw Chelsea Green go one-on-one with the WWE Women’s Champion, Bayley. Although the champion pinned her opponent with a Roseplant, things did not end well for her. Piper Niven beat down the former hugger with a Black Hole Slam.
After SmackDown went off the air, Byron Saxton approached Green and Niven backstage for an interview. Although The Hot Mess told him to scram, he was able to get his wish. The 34-year-old said that her losing the match did not matter, as they emerged as winners in the end.
Niven continued by saying that if The Role Model thought that beating was bad, she should wait until they ‘clash’ again. With this statement, the former Women’s Tag Team Champions smirked at the camera and asked Saxton to leave them alone.

Piper Niven‘s specific use of the word ‘clash’ seems to indicate that she will be challenging for the WWE Women’s Championship at the Clash at the Castle PLE in Glasgow. The match will take place in front of the Scottish wrestler’s home crowd on June 15th, 2024.
Bayley gets a fierce warning from her potential SummerSlam opponent, Nia Jax
Bayley seems to be in a world of trouble at the moment. Even if she is able to overcome her potential opponent in Scotland, she still has the Queen of the Ring winner to worry about. The semi-finals of the women’s tournament on SmackDown saw Nia Jax pin Bianca Belair clean to book her spot in the finals against Lyra Valkyria.
As announced by Triple H, the winner of the tournament will be receiving a world title shot at SummerSlam against the champion of their respective brand. While the champion was on her way to the arena for her match against Chelsea Green, she was interrupted by the Irresistible Force.
The 34-year-old’s smile faded away as soon as she laid her eyes on Nia Jax. The potential challenger told her to keep her title clean until SummerSlam. She was on her way to claim it. The champion, without saying anything, walked away from the scene. She did not say a word throughout the interaction and had a look of worry on her face.
