All’s not well with America’s team. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys WR had some words for quarterback Dak Prescott amid a delayed start against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The match between the Steelers and the Cowboys was deferred due to inclement weather. Heavy storms, including lightning and strong winds, swept through the stadium area just as the game was nearly starting. The game, supposed to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET, started almost ninety minutes late at 9:45 p.m.
The furor of the weather translated into the game as well. The 25-year-old Louisianan appeared to yell at his teammate Prescott after the latter threw an interception during the game. The quarterback sat expressionless, probably recollecting on the throw.
Although the Cowboys won the game defeating the Steelers, they were unable to build on a lead initially. It wasn’t clear what Lamb was telling Prescott, but NFL fans assume it was some spat. The more the drama, the more intense the game is. Nevertheless, Cris Colinsworth and Mike Tirico weighed in on the situation, suggesting that it didn’t look good.
Earlier, amid the blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in week 3, Lamb expressed frustration with Prescott. Although he cleared up the situation, a similar ensuing weeks later dusted off the incident once again. After a lengthy and tumultuous off-season signing both to historic deals, a rift is something that the Cowboys wouldn’t want early in the season.
Dak Prescott overcomes shaky Sunday night to beat the Steelers in dying minutes
Amid a very disastrous start to week 5’s last Sunday game with lightning and the initial interception, the Cowboys defeated the Steelers 20-17. After a shaky start, Dallas QB Prescott rose to the situation and won the game for the team in the last quarter.

Prescott played his best football when it mattered most. Dallas trailed 6-10 entering the fourth quarter and had just two possessions, both of which ended in touchdown passes from Prescott. The first was a 22-yard strike to Rico Dowdle, giving the Cowboys the much-needed comeback of a 13-10 lead.

Pittsburgh retaliated with a touchdown to go ahead 13-17 with 4:56 left on the clock. Prescott hit Jalen Tolbert for a four-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal with 20 seconds left for the game to end.
Dallas Cowboys have improved to 3-2, trailing behind Washington Commanders in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers with fan Elon Musk in the stands fall to second place in the AFC North after losing their second consecutive game.
