The emphatic victory from breaching the 32-year-old Gabba fortress, to winning the Border-Gavaskar series 2-1, Indians are still cherishing the historic win. Prime Minister Narendra, who congratulated Team India after the victory earlier, again praised the young boys’ spirit.

During the address to the nation via ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Team India for their brilliant team spirit and hard work in Australia that helped them ‘gloriously’ bounce back and win the series.

“This month, we got good news from the cricket pitch. After initial hiccups, the Indian team bounced back gloriously and won the series in Australia. Our team’s hard work and teamwork was inspiring,” PM Modi said during ‘Mann Ki Baat’, on Sunday.

In reply, BCCI thanked the honourable Prime Minister and boosted up the young Indian players for their matches ahead.

Even the Indian Team skipper Virat Kohli PM’s acknowledgements and replied by the proud Indian Flag.
