PMGC 2020 Finals: NOVA Esports Lifts the Trophy


The final day of the biggest PUBG Mobile tournament has been concluded and Nova Esports (Nova XQF) is taking home the title this time. A total of 16 teams over the world qualified for the finals in a tournament worth $1,200, 000. The PMGC 2020 journey was challenging and entertaining at the same time.
The hunger to lift the trophy brought so much excitement to the fans, with NOVA Esports taking home the winning amount of $700,000 with a total of 319 points. Following XQF, 4 AM stands at the second position with overall 294 points. Fans’ favorite Bigetron RA stands at the 5th position with overall 241 points.
Prize Pool Distribution for the PMGC 2020 Finals

League Stage champions Four Angry Men, also known as 4 AM, won a total of $200,000. On the other hand, Wildcard Region team Zeus Esports stands in the third position and won total cash of $100,000. The overall distribution of total prize pool is as:

The PMGC 2020 finals were supposed to be held in Coca-Cola Stadium in Dubai, UAE. After three players tested positive for COVID-19, the teams were sitting in their hotels and competing with each other. The decision to disband the LAN event was taken by the authorities, considering the health and safety of the participating teams. After postponing the event for two days, the officials successfully concluded the day.
