Police arrest Tyreek Hill before Dolphins’ season-opener by pinning him brutally on road
Tyreek Hill was detained by Miami police this morning for two hours for driving violation before being released for tonight’s opening game.

The Miami Dolphins are all set for tonight’s football match against the Jacksonville Jaguars to commence their 2024 NFL season. However, it seems their star wide receiver Tyreek Hill faced an unfortunate incident as he got arrested this morning in Miami.
Around 10:50 am E.T., Hill was spotted by the authorities near his team’s home stadium, Hard Rock Stadium, for ‘driving violation’ as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. He remained in police custody for two whole hours before being released for tonight’s game.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport confirmed the news, reporting the eight-time Pro Bowler was “slammed to the ground, handcuffed for five minutes.” The exact traffic violation by Hill is unspecified still now. The pictures and videos from the scene have gone viral on the internet where Hill was clearly seen being handcuffed on the ground.
The star receiver’s agent Drew Rosenhaus shared that Hill has been released and now preparing for the season-opening match against Jacksonville tonight. ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported that the Miami police stopped Hill for reckless driving, they might have let him go after a ticket. However, he got into “physical altercation” which forced the police to place handcuffs and he wasn’t released until the situation got depleted.

In the official statement made by the Dolphins, the presence of Hill and a few other teammates who noticed the incident and got involved to help the receiver. This means the superstar wideout will be there for his team’s opening showdown against the conference rivals, the Jaguars.

Hill also did not appear in the team’s official injury report prior to the game. However, the Dolphins will be without wide receiver Malik Washington as he is recovering from a quadriceps injury and was mentioned in their injured list.

He is again aiming for a dominating season in receiving yards and this time, successfully breaking the NFL’s historic record of 2,000 yards and engraving his name in the pages of the league’s history.
