The Portland TrailBlazers have closed their facility for deep cleaning after there were 3 positive Covid cases in a span of 4 days. As the regular season starts from December 22, all NBA teams started having players come to the facility for individual practice. Even the TrailBlazers were supposed to have their first training camp. However, whether the 3 cases involve players or staff are officially unknown.

TrailBlazers start their pre-season against Sacramento Kings and the availability of players depend on their current scenario. The franchise’s president Neil Olshey, in a statement distributed by the team, said the decision to close the facility was made “out of an abundance of caution.” The team has also completed contact tracing, Olshey said.
