Bron Breakker has been a solid choice for the Intercontinental Championship so far. He has held down the Raw midcard tremendously well. He is portrayed as a strong and dominant force and puts on incredible matches inside the ring. Thus, fans cannot wait to see what WWE has in store for him for his first-ever WrestleMania match.

According to Fightful Select, WWE’s latest plans for the Intercontinental Championship seem to feature a fatal-4-way match between Breakker, Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio. Earlier reports stated that WWE was planning a multi-man match for him at WrestleMania, but this report specifically mentions the details about the competitors.

Many thought that Penta facing Breakker in a singles match would be the program for WrestleMania 41. Thus, it was confusing to see WWE announce this matchup for the latest episode of Raw. The bout eventually ended via disqualification after interference from The Judgment Day. The ending to this episode seems to have planted the seeds for this multi-man match at the biggest show of the year.

Finn Balor and Mysterio being on opposing sides in this match is quite interesting. After all, WWE has teased a lot of tension within The Judgment Day, especially with these two superstars over the past few weeks on Raw. However, they may not have enough time to build a singles feud between these for the biggest show of the year. Thus, they can kickstart their fight as part of this fatal 4-way and have a singles match later down the line.

What happened to AJ Styles challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship?

AJ Styles made his return to WWE earlier this year during the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Shortly afterward, he started having interactions with Bron Breakker on episodes of Raw. The wrestling veteran even embarrassed the Intercontinental Champion when they met in the ring. Many thought that this would be the WrestleMania program for the IC belt or at least a match on Raw.

However, the promotion has stopped making any references to this feud since then, and the two superstars do not interact on TV anymore. Breakker also seems to be too occupied with The Judgment Day and Penta. Furthermore, there were reports that stated that Styles would face Balor at WrestleMania 41, but the Irishman seems to be busy in the Intercontinental Title picture.

Styles has since pivoted to a feud against Logan Paul. Since the 47-year-old stopped having interactions with Breakker, he has been running into The Maverick quite often. A few weeks ago on Raw, the former United States Champion put his hands on Andrew Schulz, which led to the Phenomenal One coming out to make the save.

Goldberg says that nothing can stop Bron Breakker except his height

Bron Breakker seems to be the complete package for a WWE Superstar. He has an incredible physique, can cut a decent promo, plays both a heel and a face, and is agile and lightning-fast in the ring for a man his size. However, Bill Goldberg believes that there is still something that might hold him back from being a main event player for WWE.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Goldberg said that he had known Breakker for nearly twenty years. He was often on the road with his father and uncle. All of them knew that the 27-year-old was going to follow in their footsteps once he grew up and became a professional wrestler. The former WCW Champion said that they had spoken quite a few times and would consider them close.

His only limitation is his height. That’s it. There ain’t nothing in the world that can stop him. Unless he can grow eight inches taller, that’s the only thing in the world that can stop that kid.

Goldberg said that Breakker’s only limitation in the professional wrestling business was his height. Other than that, he believed that the Intercontinental Champion had a tremendous resume in the WWE already. The sky should be the limit for him, and he deserved every bit of success coming his way.
