Aston Villa vs Watford: Aston Villa squared off against Watford at Villa Park, Birmingham, on matchday 26 of 38 in the on-going edition of the Premier League.

Aston Villa have lost both of their Premier League games with Watford this season, only the second time the Hornets have done so in the competition (also in 2015-16).

Emiliano Martinez (wk) (7/10): The Argentina international Aston Villa keeper Emiliano had a great night. He was brilliant with three saves inside the box and two high claims.

Matthew Cash (7.1/10): Matthew Cash was impressive with two clearances. He was also accurate with crossing and had a good run at the wingers.

Tyrone Mings (c) (6.9/10): Mings wasn’t up the mark in the first half. But produced a composed display in the second half.

Calum Chambers (6.8/10): Calum had a little of the day tonight not much in the game. But did some excellent tackling.

Lucas Digne (7.1/10): Lucas was excellent in the defense with great coordination with the Mid-fielded-field as well.

Douglas Luiz (6.7/10): Douglas started well but began to lose control of the midfield, being beaten in plenty of duels.

John McGinn (7.3/10):  John was outstanding at the Mid-field. Controlled the game very well. He won six ground duel followed by two aerial won.

Jacob Ramsey (7.1/10): Passed and tackled well but struggled against the combative  Watford midfield. Influence increased towards the end of the game.

Emiliano Buendia (7.9/10): Emiliano was sub’s at the 71st minute but was extraordinary with his performance. Create one big chance with five key passes too.

Danny Ings (6.3/10): Danny struggled to get things going. Missed one big chaced and also lost position many times.

Philippe Coutinho (7.1/10): Coutinho was again impressive at the wingers. Made a couple of key passes.

Ben Foster (wk) (7.1/10): Another day another reel of great saves for Ben Foster.

Hassane Kamara (7.4/10): Hassane was brilliant with his distribution. Made three clearances and four successful interceptions.

Craig Cathcart (7.5/10): Cathcart looked good at the defense. Was on point with his pace and skills in defense.

Kiko Femenia (6.9/10): Femenia lost position many times but was excellent with the passes.

Samir (7.9/10): Samir wasn’t effective in the first half but made a key contribution in the second half. He was injured and sub’s at 89th minute.

Imran Lauza (7.4/10): Imran was brilliant in the middle. Control the game really well. Gave a couple of good long passes.

Tom Cleverley (7/10): Cleverly has a decent outing. Took on short on target. He also blocked a shot.

Moussa Sissoko (c) (6.8/10): Sissoko hasn’t been up to the mark. Did 45 touches but could have done better.

Ismaila Sarr (7.4/10): Sarr made one crucial assist while also creating two big chances.

Joshua King (6.7/10): Joshua did create one big chance but also missed one big opportunity.

Emmanuel Dennis (7.5/10): Emmanuel scored a brilliant 78th-minute goal to his side to take a lead. Was also excellent with touches and passes.
