Premier League: Burnley vs Brighton
Burnley locked horns with Brighton and Hove Albion in their opening game of the Premier League 2021/22.
Burnley’s James Tarkowski found the net at the second minute for his side. The score at the end of the first half saw Burnley lead the game 1-0. However, Brighton returned back with two goals at the 73rd and 78th minute by Neal Maupay and Alexis Mac Allister, respectively. With that two goals, the club won the game 2-1 and started their campaign with a win.

Nick Pope (5.5/10): We didn’t see the best of Nick Pope in the club’s season opener as he conceded two goals within a few minutes, which saw Burnley end up on the losing side.

James Tarkowski (8/10): Undoubtedly, James was the best player in his club though he was awarded a yellow card for a foul. He was on the score sheet tonight for his club as he scored a goal during the early minutes of the game.
Ben Mee (7/10): Partnered with James, the English player was as strong as a ball and also helped the team gain possession during the game.
Charlie Taylor (6.5/10): Taylor also was a bit shaky in the defence but was exceptional during the first half of the match.
