Premier League : Leicester City vs West Ham United Player Ratings as West Ham United get a late point

Leicester City vs West Ham United:  Leicester City squared off against West Ham United at the King Power Stadium in  the ongoing edition of the Premier League

West Ham United drew 2-2 with Leicester City. West Ham United found the opener from Jarrod Bowen who finished off from close range against Kasper Schmeichel. However just before the end of the first half, Aaron Creswell gifted Leicester City a penalty which was converted by Youri Tielemans. Then Ricardo Pereira managed to bring Leicester City in the front as he headed in from Barnes’s cross. However Craig Dawson came to West Ham’s rescue as he equalised in added time.

Leicester City

Kasper Schmeichel (6.5/10)- There wasn’t much Schmeichel could do with the first goal from Jarrod Bowen. However, he did make a good save off Benrahma in the second half.

Ricardo Pereira (8/10)- The right-back brought back Leicester City once again in the lead as he headed past Fabianski. A lovely flighted cross from Harvey Barnes and an impressive finish from Pereira.

Caglar Soyuncu(7/10) – The Turkish defender put in a fine performance tonight. He made a very important block that stopped Jarrod Bowen’s shot from going in.

Daniel Amartey (5.5/10)- The center-back will be disappointed in his defense against Craig Dawson. He allowed Dawson to climb over him and let him score the header.

Luke Thomas(5/10)- The young left-back game came to an early end as he had to substitute due to an injury.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (6/10)- The youngster put in a good shift today in the midfield for the home team. He was making some good tackles and was decent in possession.

Youri Tielemans (7.5/10)- The Belgian midfielder brought back Leicester City on level terms with a penalty in first-half added time. He smashed the ball into the far left corner.

Ndidi(6.5/10)- Wilfred Ndidi controlled the game well in the middle of the park. He drew in the fouls from English international Declan Rice.

James Maddison (6/10)- James Maddison was average tonight. He didn’t contribute to anything spectacular tonight and had a decent game.

Patson Daka(7/10)- The striker had a fantastic chance in the initial minutes of the second half. Harvey Barnes skipped past the defence and delivered the cross but Patson Daka couldn’t reach the ball sliding in.

Harvey Barnes (7.5/10)-  An extremely impressive performance from the young forward who was very bright. Moreover, he also got the assist for the second goal from Ricardo Pereira.

Substitute-

Justin James (6/10)- The young left-back got some valuable minutes under his pocket. He was brought on in place of injured Luke Thomas.

Ademola Lookman (6/10)- The striker came on to replace attacking midfielder James Maddison in the second half.

Lukas Fabianski (6/10)- The goalkeeper made a good effort to stop Youri Tielemans shot. Fabianski jumped the right way but was unable to stop the shot.

Aaron Creswell(5/10)- The left-back had a horror game tonight as he conceded the penalty via a handball. Moreover, he was also booked in the second-half following a poor challenge.

Vladimir Coufal (6/10)- The right-back made some mistakes in defences tonight. He let Barnes getaway on one occasion and Patson Daka could’ve scored.

Craig Dawson (7.5/10)- The defender once again put the visitors on level terms. He reached well to the looping cross and headed in strong to beat Kasper Schmeichel.

Issa Diop(6/10)- The centre back was not even supposed to play today and was a late change in the starting lineup. Kurt Zouma was injured in the warmup and had to be replaced by Diop.

Declan Rice (6.5/10)- The defensive midfielder was average tonight and gave a decent performance. He was booked in the second half for a reckless challenge on Ndidi.

Tomas Soucek (6.5/10)- The midfielder was facing some problems tonight while defending against Harvey Barnes. He was beaten on some occasions on Barnes who went through in attack.

Jarrod Bowen(8/10)- The young forward opened the scoring for the Hammers. Bowen goes one on one with Schmeichel and keeps his calm to finish with a fine low shot.

Pablo Fornals (6.5/10)- Fornals leg forward a good attack after receiving the ball from Declan Rice. He passed to Aaron Creswell who fluffed his shot.

Manuel Lanzini (6/10)– The Italian international was a bit disappointing today. He couldn’t get into the match much and wasn’t that involved.

Michael Antonio(6/10)- The striker set up a great opportunity for Bowen after the halftime break. However, Bowen’s shot was straight at Soyuncu and was blocked out.

Substitute-

Said Benrahma (7/10)- The forward got into the action immediately after coming on. He went past two defenders before firing the shot against Kasper Schmeichel.
