Premier League: Listing the five best FPL players until Gameweek 8

Fantasy Premier League has been one of the most exciting things for the fans off the pitch. It is near akin to the actual game itself and provides the same emotions. The fan is made the manager and he/she is given a budget to choose players from all 20 teams. The excitement levels are the same and there’s the same amount of tension and drama in the game too.
A mix of old and new
Some of the new Premier League signings are shining while some of the old players are still continuing their form. Some seem to have become better time, while some have dropped off. It is hard to be consistent, but when a player does manage to be so, he is special. Here we list some of the players who have been consistently playing well and getting good points too.
Diogo Jota

The second man on fire for Liverpool, Jota has been consistent since he has joined Liverpool from Wolves. Liverpool got him for a fee near 41 million euros which will be paid in instalments. He scored on his debut against Arsenal with a beautiful goal and has gone on to score against Sheffield United and West Ham United in the Premier League. He has scored against Midjtylland and a hat-trick against Atalanta in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp simply has not been able to drop him and even took a major risk against Manchester City by playing him in a front four. It speaks volumes that Klopp trusts him enough to change his favoured formation of 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 to accommodate him. With his starts guaranteed, it is a matter of consistency too.
The next few games of Liverpool are expected to be easy, barring the Leicester, Wolves and Tottenham game. The next six opponents for Liverpool are Leicester, Brighton, Wolves, Fulham, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Newcastle. He is expected to score in all of these matches as he’s proven before. It will be wise of people to keep him in their team and maybe captain him against the smaller teams.
Hakim Ziyech

The Ajax wizard has finally arrived in London and has immediately shown his class on the pitch. In four matches in the Premier League he has scored a goal and assisted thrice. In the Champions League he has scored only once however. This is a very good stat for any player who has come to the Premier League. The toughness that this league provides is unmatched anywhere and Ziyech has been more than capable of handling it.
He has struck up a partnership with Reece James in the right side of the pitch and that has been very fruitful for Chelsea. Chelsea fans and all FPL fans will be delighted to have him on their side. The wizard might just unleash more of his wizardry now!
Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish is a seriously underrated midfielder in the Premier League. He’s played 7 games in the Premier League and has 4 goals and 5 assists already. He is on course to surpassing his best season’s stats before the halfway point of this season.
His partnership with Ross Barkley and Ollie Watkis is instrumental to his success. The latter is a very good finisher and has six goals already in seven matches. Jack Grealish is sure to have a lot of assists as long as Ollie Watkins is in the team and consistent himself. The partnership with Barkley is such that Barkley is a breaker of lines and can dispossess people. Grealish could benefit from Barkley’s interceptions and be released in dangerous positions.
Assists matter and Jack Grealish has a lot to serve this season.
Harry Kane

Harry Kane looks a man possessed this season as he has combined with Son Heung-min to devastating effect. He has 8 assists this season, which is equal to number of assists he has given over the last three seasons! He has scored 7 goals too and that makes it a contribution of 15 G/A over 8 matches. Those are numbers anyone will kill to have.
He has been consistent across all the matches and hasn’t blown hot or cold like others. This is shaping up to be one of his season provided he managed to stay injury free. Gareth Bale and Son Heung-min are most likely to combine together with him and fireworks will surely be unleashed.
Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah needs to be spoken more than he is being spoken about now. He could be the greatest winger the Premier League has ever seen. Gone are the days of Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard. Salah is soon to surpass Henry’s legacy and become the best winger of all time.

He has 8 goals this season and is on course to breaking the goals tally of his record season. If he can score one goal a match for the next 25 matches, he is sure to achieve that record. He has created 11 chances and looks leaner, fitter and sharper. Anyone will be a fool if they remove Salah from their FPL as Liverpool now goes into a run of easy games.
Expect Salah and Jota to have a good performance against these teams and collect massive points!
