Newcastle United vs Manchester United: Manchester United played an away game against Newcastle United, who were in quest for a revenge match-up and hoping for something extraordinary.
Allan Saint-Maximin provided just what they wanted with a magnificent start. He scored a brilliant goal in the far right top corner in the 7th minute to bring the lead to Newcastle. However, Manchester United didn’t give up hopes too soon.
The savior for the Reds, Edinson Cavani yet again scored a brilliant tap in off the rebound of the keeper to bring in the equaliser for Manchester United. Eventually, Cavani’s equaliser turned out to be the crucial goal of the match as the scoreline read 1-1 at the final whistle.

Martin Dúbravka (GK) (6.6/10) : A good performance by Martin overall. However, the mistake he made helped Cavani tap in off the rebound which tied the match and made him lose his clean sheet.
Javier Manquillo (6.3/10) : Javier didn’t do much to contribute to the team’s benefit. However, he earned himself a yellow card for time wasting in the added time. An average performance overall.
Fabian Schär (6.6/10) : Fabian did brilliantly well with defending and made some extraordinary clearences. However, he failed to pass accurately and thus lost possession.
Jamaal Lascelles (7.6/10) : Apart from doing a mind-blowing at defending, Jamal also stunned all after making a brilliant off the line clearence that denied the opportunity to the Reds.
Emil Krafth (7/10) : Emil was really quick with his feet as he managed to make as many as five successful tackles followed by numerous ground duel wins.
Ryan Fraser (6.8/10) : Fraser lost the possession of the ball on multiple occasions. However, he had just the one on target attempt which was perfectly denied by de Gea.
Jonjo Shelvey (7/10) : Shelvey kept adding the pressure on the under pressure United side. He made two good on target attempts followed by constantly making gameplay that made it miserable for the defenders.
Sean Longstaff (6.8/10) : Longstaff had a decent and quiet game overall. He didn’t Statistically contribute a lot but surely provided the team with perfect coordination.
Allan Saint-Maximin (7.2/10) : Allan Saint-Maximin gave a dream start to Newcastle and something to cheer for the home crowd. He surged into the box before striking the ball away from De Gea in the top right corner to bring the lead to Newcastle in the 7th mini of the game.
Callum Wilson (6.5/10) : Wilson had a decent game overall for Newcastle United. He made some good gameplay and showed great determination. However, Murphy replaced him in the first half added time after facing an injury.
Joelinton (7/10) : Joelinton did well with ground duels but failed miserably at aerial duels. He did have a shy at goal but he was off target on attempt.

David de Gea (GK) (7.4/10) : De Gea has always been and will always will be the star of the show for the Reds as he made some fantastic saves to keep them in the game. He couldn’t do anything about the first goal but he surely kept the box clean after that. A brilliant show with the gloves.
Diogo Dalot (6.6/10) : Diogo Dalot has provided a decent hand in the defence and contributed well to keep the ball away from goal. However, he has lost possession on way too many occasions.
Raphael Varane (7.1/10) : Varane has played a game after so long and proved his excellence by showing a class act in the defence. He made four good clearences and intercepted the ball well, following it by making successful tackles.
Harry Maguire (6.6/10) : A pretty average performance by the Man United skipper. He barely contributed in defending and failed at keeping the possession of the ball on numerous occasions.
Alex Telles (7/10) : Telles was up and running the entire game. He barely kept the ball away from him. He did excellently at passing, created big goal scoring chances and contributed well in defence.
Scott McTominay (7.1/10) : McTominay has outdone himself yet again and turned quite a few heads. What a performance by him. He won almost every single aerial or ground duel he came across. He however had to be substituted after facing an injury.
Fred (7/10) : Just the first half for Fred in this match-up. He contributed his best in the first half with defending and in the midfield. However, his services weren’t necessary for the second-half with the team already 1 goal down.
Bruno Fernandes (6.6/10) : Ronaldo’s Portugal counterpart didn’t have much to do with the impact on Man United’s gameplay. He barely did well by creating a couple of big chances as he lost possession on as many as 24 occasions.
Mason Greenwood (6.3/10) : Not one of the most classy games for the young sensation. He made some good runs and made some good balls ahead but when the opportunity came his way, he missed out on a big goal scoring opportunity.
Marcus Rashford (6.8/10) : Rashford had not much to add on to the positives for United in this game. He had just the on target attempt to play with and couple of his shots were blocked in defence. He did well with winning one too many ground duels though.
Cristiano Ronaldo (6.6/10) : It just wasn’t the night for the legendary striker. He barely had any chances to convert neither did he create himself. He couldn’t positively impact the game for his side and remained goalless.

Edinson Cavani (7/10) : Cavani has always risen up to the expectations for the Reds. He has scored whenever he received and opportunity and he proved his worth yet again. He scored a brilliant tap in off a rebound to bring in an all important equaliser.
Jadon Sancho (7/10) : In the short span of time that Sancho played, he created a big goal scoring chance missed by Cavani. He did a brilliant job in the time he got to play and impacted positively for his team’s benefit.
