Premier League website changes Liverpool’s home ground to Puskas Arena in a hilarious gaffe (It hasn’t been changed yet!)

Liverpool played both legs of their Champions League Round of 16 clash against RB Leipzig in the Puskas Arena, Budapest. Germany’s strict travel regulations for flights to and from the United Kingdom meant that both the teams couldn’t play in their home stadiums. It might have been a blessing in disguise for Liverpool as their terrible home form didn’t carry over to their matches in Puskas Arena.
Maybe a permanent switch to the Puskas Arena will help Liverpool get their campaign back on track
Liverpool have lost 6 consecutive games at Anfield and that has seen them drop from the 1st place in Christmas to 6th place now. They have been winless in their last 8 games there, with the last win coming against Tottenham on the 17th of December. In what could be a good piece of news, Liverpool do not play against any team at Anfield until the 10th of April. Their next match comes against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on the 4th of April and the players might get a chance to refresh themselves now.
Liverpool have been clinical away from Anfield in 2021 and that seems to be the only good thing for them now. Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Sheffield United, Wolves and RB Leipzig (x2) were all defeated away from home. In the Puskas Arena, Liverpool have played some of their best football in recent times and completely outclassed Leipzig over the two legs.
The Premier League official website showing that Liverpool’s home stadium now is the Puskas Arena might have been a joke, but it is the painful truth in some way.
