After the Australian Open, many top players are now shifting their attention to the Dallas Open. Starting in 2025, the Dallas Open has been upgraded to an ATP 500 level tournament. It was previously an ATP 250 level tournament.

With the 500 level upgrade, the 2025 Dallas Open will be relocating to the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, United States. The tournament was previously held at Uniondale, New York, where it was known as the New York Open. This indoor hard court competition will take place from February 3 to February 9.

The Dallas Open is the only ATP Tour indoor championship in the United States and features men’s top tennis players in singles and doubles competition. It will be the 4th edition of the Dallas Open.

Several top men’s players, such as Ben Shelton, Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Thomas Machac, will be competing at the 2025 Dallas Open. Previous year’s champion Tommy Paul will also be eyeing to defend his title this year.

Paul clinched his fourth ATP singles title at this tournament last year by defeating American compatriot Marcos Giron in three sets. The previous year’s champions in doubles were Australia’s Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson. Purcell and Thompson, however, won’t be competing at the tournament this year.

Prize money for the 2025 Dallas Open

In 2024, the Dallas Open had a total prize money pool of $756,020, with the singles champion receiving $114,970. Since in 2025, the Dallas Open has been elevated to an ATP 500 level tournament, the prize money has also significantly increased.

The prize money for the 2025 Dallas Open is $2,760,000 and the total financial commitment is $3,035,960. The winner of this tournament will receive 500 points. Additionally, the doubles champions would receive a prize money of $169,540.

Alongside the Dallas Open, the ABN AMRO Open, another ATP 500 hard court tournament is also underway at Rotterdam, Netherlands and it features players like Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Alex de Minaur, Andrey Rublev and Holger Rune. Following this tournament, the Delray Beach Open, Open 13 Marseille and Argentina Open of the ATP 2025 tour will take place in the second week of February.
