Pro-Gamer Deigo Palma: 17-year old Fortnite Gamer earns staggering $646,00 in 2 years

Fortnite is a hugely popular battle royale game which has many content creators and professional players. Today we talk about a Pro Gamer Deigo Palma and how he earns almost $646,000 in 2 years playing Fortnite.

Fortnite is a massively popular battle royale game that has captured the hearts of millions of players throughout the world. The game has spawned one of the largest esports industries in the world. Many content creators have spawned to entertain the viewers and make the game more popular.

We take a look at one such Professional player, Pro Gamer Deigo Palma and how he became one of the youngest Fortnite streams/pro player.

Pro Gamer Deigo Palma: His Fortnite Journey

Pro Gamer Deigo Palma, started off very young, at the age of 4. He was introduced to his two main loves, soccer and gaming, at this age by his father. The first ever game he played was World of Warcraft and also enjoyed soccer.

However, his soccer dreams turned a bit sour when in high school he injured his knee and had to take a one year break. During this recovery period, he started to get into gaming. He soon built a gaming PC and started off with Fortnite, in the summer it was released.

His first tournament was the 2018 Fortnite Royale tournament at the Oakland Esports Arena. In this tournament he achieved his first major victor, when he placed 2nd overall. He won $500 and at the age of 14 he signed with 100 Thieves, a California based Pro-gaming company.

After signing with 100 Thieves , Deigo, won his first pro match by placing 5th in Fortnite World Cup in July 17, 2019. He and his partner combined, won $900,000.

Since then, Deigo has won almost $646,000 in two years of competing pro. His in-game name is Arkhram.

However, it also had its share of problems. After the finals, everyone at school knew his identity and it made it hard to be centre of attention. He shifted to online schooling and has never looked back since.

What is it like being a professional Gamer?

Being a gamer, might sound easy, but it is far from that. Deigo practises Fortnite for 10 hours daily on an average. He even re-watches his plays to see what occasions he made a mistake and thing he can improve upon. This is the mentality of a top level pro-player in Fortnite.

He has two teammates beside him, namely Rehx and Epik. Deigo is the captain of the team and this title is well-earned. His main aim of improving his aim and perfecting mechanics.

His future goals include continuing his higher education and becoming the best player and winning tournaments.

When not playing games, Pro Gamer Deigo Palma relaxes by watching movies, practising soccer or playing other video games.
