Last night, former UFC champion Rampage Jackson’s son, Raja Jackson, went viral after a shocking altercation in Los Angeles. The 25-year-old streamed the entire violent incident live on KICK, attracting thousands of viewers and sparking intense online discussions. It escalated dangerously, with Raja brutally beating the wrestler, leaving him unconscious and nearly killing him before intervention occurred.
The violent incident occurred during a KnokX Pro Wrestling event, where Raja Jackson was invited to participate in a planned act. Instead of following the script, Raja interrupted the match and brutally slammed wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, mid-performance.
He then launched a vicious assault, delivering over twenty punches to Smith, leaving the audience shocked and chaos unfolding everywhere. According to wrestler Douglas Malo, Smith suffered broken facial bones and several missing teeth from Raja’s uncontrollable attack during the event.
He was choking on his own blood and teeth. Somebody reminded me there’s kids there and then I was like ‘oh my God. That kid’s sitting there like, ‘Are you okay? Was that real? What’s happening? Why didn’t anybody help him?’ You could see the fear on his face.

In the viral footage, Smith repeatedly apologized to Jackson after their initial altercation, explaining it was part of the act. Jackson appeared calm, even shaking hands with Smith, but his actions later proved he wasn’t willing to let things slide.

After the brutal assault, Jackson was seen shouting, ranting about disrespect, and claiming he was done tolerating constant insults toward him. “Motherf****r playing with me bro. Real sh**. Calling me b*** and sh**,” Jackson screamed, emphasizing his frustration in front of viewers.
Later during the livestream, Jackson received a shocking call informing him that Smith was unresponsive, and things weren’t as planned. After learning about the shock, Rampage Jackson appeared stunned and concerned, processing the escalating chaos surrounding his son’s actions.
I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in…

Rampage immediately ended his KICK stream with Sneako and posted on X, sharing positive updates about Smith’s improving condition. The veteran fighter clarified he wasn’t defending Raja’s actions, stating it was a planned work that spiraled completely out of control. However, fans weren’t convinced and slammed Raja online, demanding severe punishment for attempted murder charges against him.
Combat sports superstar reacts to Raja Jackson’s disturbing assault
Stuart Smith, whom Raja Jackson attacked, was a U.S. Army veteran who turned to independent wrestling to manage PTSD. After serving in the military, he found professional wrestling provided purpose and a therapeutic outlet to help rebuild his life. Following the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department has opened an official investigation into the livestreamed assault.

After Jackson’s brutal assault, several popular personalities, including former UFC fighters Ben Askren and Chael Sonnen, publicly addressed the shocking incident. Top YouTuber MrBeast responded to the news and even vowed to financially assist the injured veteran during his difficult recovery.
Renowned boxer Ryan Garcia also expressed concern, labeling the assault disturbing, and shared his personal thoughts through posts on social media.

Ryan Garcia also raised concerns about the growing streaming culture, emphasizing how creators often resort to extreme acts just to gain views. Amidst the controversy, an old video of Rampage Jackson resurfaced, showing him jokingly claiming he saved bail money for Raja.
In the same clip, Rampage revealed a stark contrast, stating he saved college funds for his Japanese children instead. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see how things turn out in the future and the legal troubles the veteran goes through next.
