Jonathan Owens, the husband of Simone Biles, responded after the gymnast won her third gold medal at the Paris Olympics. With the win, it took Biles’ tally to 10 Olympic medals, making her the most decorated women gymnast of all time.
Biles was the USA women’s gymnastics team participant in the vault finals. After calming down her nerves, the 27-year-old left the crowd speechless after successfully performing the Yurchenko double pike and Biles II.
The judges gave her scores of 15.700 on vault 1 and 14.900 in vault 2, which accumulated to a grand total of 15.300. It was enough for her to win her seventh overall gold medal at the Games. The silver and bronze medals were won by Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade with 14.966 and Biles teammate Jade Carey with 14.466, respectively.
After the winners were announced, Jonathan Owens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted a tweet taking a dig at the trolls.

Owens faced a lot of flak a couple of days ago for wearing Biles’ second Gold Medal in Paris. Social media accused the Chicago Bears’ safety of intentionally trying to hog his wife’s spotlight. Biles responded with a fiery post later. She directly called the trolls out, labeling them as ‘miserable.’
Jonathan Owens’ time in Paris with Simone Biles came to an end
The 29-year-old NFL player took special permission from the Chicago Bears, with whom he signed earlier this year. He missed the first week of training camp with the team, along with the Hall of Fame game against the Houston Texans.
When Biles won her latest medal, Owens wasn’t present at the venue to cheer her on. He was on the flight back to Chicago, but did not forget to congratulate her.

Before he was seen sitting in the stands with Biles’ parents, watching her every move. The cameras caught him with a notebook, writing down every statistic that popped up on the jumbotron.
The pair went through severe backlash on the internet last year. Owens, more so than Biles, for allegedly not being aware of who she was before she messaged her on Instagram. This set off a chain reaction of online trolling.
However, the pair who got married last April endured it together. Biles turned up at several Green Bay Packers games (Owens’ former side) as they reached the playoffs.
