Ligue 1: PSG vs Reims Player Ratings as PSG thrash the home side to win 4-0
PSG vs Reims: PSG squared off against Reims at the Parc des Princes in Matchday 22 of the ongoing edition of the Ligue 1.
Both the teams were almost equally dominant in the 1st half with Reims being a bit on the stronger side. However, Marco Verratti was able to provide the lead for PSG late in the 1st half with a powerful strike. In the 2nd half, PSG was completely dominated as they scored 3 goals. Sergio Ramos scored the 2nd goal from close range. Marco Verratti was able to score his 2nd of the night with a deflected shot. Ultimately, Danilo Pereira was able to take the lead to 4 for PSG with a strike from outside the box.

Keylor Navas (6.5/10): The Costa Rican goalkeeper had to make some good saves to keep the Reims attack out. He was well aware and proactive in front of the goal.
Marquinhos (6.8/10): The Brazilian center-back was really very solid in the defence today making quite a few good interceptions. He also played some good passes.
Sergio Ramos (7.5/10): The veteran Spanish center-back had a commanding performance tonight making some good tackles and stops. He also scored the 2nd goal for PSG from a close range.
Nuno Mendes (6.5/10): The Portuguese left-back had a very decent performance tonight both on and off the ball. He carried the ball well and was also pro-active defensively.
Thilo Kehrer (6.4/10): The German defender had a decent performance tonight making quite a few good off-the-ball runs. He also played a few good passes.
Danilo Pereira (7/10): The Portuguese midfielder was really good on the ball and combined well with his teammates. His interceptions were also very good. He also scored the 4th goal for PSG.
Leandro Paredes (6.7/10): The Argentine defensive midfielder made quite a few good tackles and interceptions which were timed really well. He controlled the tempo in the midfield as well.
Marco Verratti (8.5/10): The Italian midfielder had an absolutely amazing night as he scored two absolutely beautiful goals. He was also fantastic in the midfield combing well with his teammates.
Mauro Icardi (6.2/10): The striker worked hard today running at the defenders and sometimes dropping to keep the PSG attack going. He made some good passes.
Kylian Mbappé (7/10): The French forward always looked dangerous whenever on the ball as well as making swift runs into attacking areas. He also made some off-the-target shots as well. He assisted the 4th goal for PSG.
Ángel Di María (6.3/10): The Argentine winger played some good passes and did put a shift on the right flank trying to win balls and making runs.
Substitutes:
Lionel Messi (6.5/10): The 7 time Ballon d’Or winner had a pretty effective night returning to action after his covid break, as he assisted the 3rd goal for PSG. He also played quite a few very good passes as well.

Reims
Predrag Rajkovic (4/10): The Serbian goalkeeper had a really tough night as he was scored passed 4 times by the visiting side, 3 of which came in the 2nd half. He did, however, made a couple of good saves.
Wout Faes (4.5/10): The Belgian center-back was good in the 1st half making some interceptions, but he could not do much in the 2nd half.
Yunis Abdelhamid (4.8/10): The veteran defender had a commanding performance in the 1st half, but much like his partner in defence, he could not do much in the 2nd half.
Andreaw Gravillon (4.7/10): The defender was solid in the 1st half making blocks and interceptions, but again could not do much as the game went on.
Bradley Locko (5/10): The young left-back played some good passes and was able to carry the ball well in the 1st half. For the rest of the game, he was not at all impactful.
Maxime Busi (5.3/10): The young right-back had a somewhat satisfactory performance in the 1st half and also a bit in the 2nd half, but without much effect.
Jens Cajuste (4.3/10): The Swedish midfielder had a satisfactory performance in the 1st half, but he was completely ineffective in the 2nd half.
Azor Matusiwa (5/10): The defensive midfielder only played the 1st half and was effective in the time he played. He played some good passes.
Hugo Ekitike (5.5/10): The striker was probably the best player on the pitch tonight for the home side making good runs and combining well with others. He also had a couple of shots at the goal.
Thomas Foket (5.3/10): The right-back playing as a right winger was also very good in the 1st half carrying the ball well and putting crosses, but was silent in the 2nd half.
Nathanaël Mbuku (5.3/10): The French forward carried the ball well and also combined well with his teammates, but could not do much as the game went on.
Substitutes:
Dion Lopy (3.5/10): He was almost ineffective after coming on as a sub at the beginning of the 2nd half. He could only manage a few passes.
Moreto Cassamá (3.2/10): He was also pretty ineffective after coming on as a sub apart from some passes.
Martin Adeline (3/10): He was completely effective after coming on as a sub. He could not do anything as the game was completely dominated by PSG.
Anastasios Donis (3/10): Much like all other subs, he was also completely ineffective after coming on as a sub.
