The Ministry of Information and Technology banned more Chinese apps including popular PUBG Mobile in the country. This time the government has banned 118 China-based apps. This makes for a big loss for Tencent, the parent company.

PUBG was developed by a South Korean video game company called Bluehole. After the success of the PC version of the game, Chinese multinational conglomerate Tencent joined hands with Bluehole and decided to launch the PUBG Mobile.

KRAFTON Announcement

PUBG Mobile Indian Version will now be releasing in India very soon. According to the Reports by Aaj Tak News, there will be an announcement by PUBG Mobile on 14th November 2020.

It has been confirmed that PUBG Mobile is in collaboration with Microsoft Azure in India. All the players’ Data in India will be in Microsoft Cloud services. So, the players’ data will be safe and not Misused as promised by PUBG. All the Indian servers will now be in connection with Microsoft Azure.

PANGYO, South Korea (Business Wire) Announced that PUBG Mobile will be working with Microsoft Azure to host multiplatform products.

This deal with Microsoft will include PUBG corporation multiplayer Battle Royale PLAYERSUNKOWN ‘S BATTLEGROUND (PUBG) on PC and Consoles, in addition to PUBG Mobile.

To further reinforce data security KRAFTON will be working with Microsoft to introduce a verification process.
