- Madison Atiabi, Puka Nacua's accuser, has reported receiving threats from unknown individuals.
- Atiabi's attorney claims the threats may be from supporters of Nacua and have escalated the legal situation.
- Nacua denies the allegations, asserting they are an attempt to extort money as he approaches a contract extension.
A new development has taken place since Puka Nacua was accused of biting a woman on the neck. The woman, later revealed as Madison Atiabi, has reportedly received threats from unknown individuals.
Joseph M. Kar, Atiabi’s attorney, believes it’s the work of supporters of the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver. Kar mentioned that the unidentified men might have obtained his client’s address after the lawsuit was made public.
Kar promptly made the police aware of the situation and went on to accuse Levi McCathern, attorney for Puka Nacua, of attempting to smear his client’s name, further escalating the matter.
It’s a calculated attempt to litigate the case in the press using false narratives and cheap lawyer gimmicks that violate his professional and ethical duties as an attorney.

Why did Madison Atiabi file a lawsuit against Puka Nacua?
On New Year’s Eve, Nacua hit the local LA nightclubs. There he met Atiabi’s group, who joined the Pro Bowl wideout on his night out.

While on their way to Club Poppy, Nacua allegedly bit Atiabi on the neck. She later filed a lawsuit against Nacua, accusing him of inflicting physical and mental harm.
Later, a video recovered by TMZ revealed Atiabi twerking next to Nacua, who appeared to be passed out on the seat of a moving vehicle. While this does not definitively establish that the bite marks were from him, the evidence does confirm that Nacua and Atiabi were together that night.
She also accused Nacua of suddenly screaming anti-semitic words. Both Nacua and McCathern denied all the allegations, calling them a crafty method to extort money from an athlete who is on the verge of signing a historic contract extension.
Puka Nacua is projected to sign a mega contract extension
Nacua established himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL by racking up 1715 yards and 10 touchdowns on 129 catches. A few days after the biting incident took place, Nacua lined up against the Arizona Cardinals. He caught 10 passes for 76 yards and scored one touchdown as the Rams won 37-20. The Rams made it into the NFC title game, where they lost to divisional rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, who later went on to win the Super Bowl.
The Seahawks awarded Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR1 money, and Nacua could follow suit. According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Rams are among the teams that could experience the ripple effect created by JSN’s extension.
For one thing, there’s no question there’s an immediate effect on somebody like Puka [Nacua]. I don’t know that the Rams are going to do that right now… Do I think they’re ultimately going to wind up paying them? Yeah. And remember, he wasn’t a first-round pick, so he doesn’t have the fifth-year option the way [Jaxon Smith-Njigba] did. So, there’s the immediate effect of it. And then, I think there’s like a bigger picture effect here too.
