Puka Nacua knows how to handle unruly football fans. A Baltimore Ravens supporter experienced Nacua’s wit when they tried to heckle him.
On December 11, Nacua dropped by at Crypto.com Arena to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs. A bunch of Ravens fans saw him heading to his courtside seats and shouted, “Let’s go Ravens.”
Initially, Nacua did not bother much and laughed it off. However, the 24-year-old briefly turned around to say, “Ravens suck,” before taking his leave. Judging by the clip, those fans weren’t expecting a scathing reply from one of the nicest football players in the league.

Ravens fans don’t have fond memories of facing the Rams. Back in Week 6, Los Angeles secured a 17-3 win over a Ravens squad missing Lamar Jackson. Nacua caught just two passes in the game for 28 yards. He is 1-1 and has caught a total of 7 passes for 112 yards in two meetings against the Ravens.
Puka Nacua has established himself as one of the best receivers in football
Ahead of the 2025 season, it was believed that Nacua might take a backseat after the Rams signed All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams. Sean McVay persuaded Adams to move closer to his home and gave quarterback Matthew Stafford a world-class weapon to work with.

Adams has looked like a player reborn. He’s played the role of the endzone threat with deadly precision. After 13 games, Adams leads the league with 14 receiving touchdowns, accompanied by 718 yards from 56 receptions.
It hasn’t slowed down Nacua’s progress. In fact, Adams’ presence creates wide open spaces in between the DBs and the linebackers where Nacua operates like a seasoned veteran. He currently leads the league in receptions with 93, is second in receiving yards with 1186, and has 6 receiving touchdowns (tied with his rookie season tally).
According to Pro Football Focus, Nacua ranks 1st in offensive grade (94.6) and receiving grade (94.6) among all skill position players in the NFL.

What is Puka Nacua’s record against the Detroit Lions?
Nacua shouldn’t think about the Ravens or NBA games and focus on the Week 15 fixture against the 8-5 Detroit Lions. Dan Campbell’s Lions will travel to LA in high spirits after they scored 44 points against a resurgent Dallas Cowboys team last week.
The Rams, themselves, returned to winning ways with a resounding victory against the Arizona Cardinals. Nacua had 7 catches for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns in Glendale.
However, the Lions are a different proposition. Nacua is 0-2 against the NFC North franchise, but at the same time, his career best came against the Lions. During his rookie season, Nacua went 9/10 for 181 yards and 1 touchdown, but the Rams lost by just one point.

The Rams are in the driver’s seat this time. According to Vegas odds, the LA Rams are 5.5 favorites to defeat the Lions at SoFi Stadium.
