They say a man only changes to impress the woman he adores. Did Puka Nacua make a surprising transformation to win over the woman of his dreams? His recent activities subtly point in that direction.
On Saturday, a few days before the Pro Bowl games, Nacua appeared on camera with a different look. His long, wavy hair, which could easily rival Trevor Lawrence’s, was gone. He brought back the sleek hairstyle that was ever-present during his BYU days.
A popular X account for the Rams’ rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, jokingly hinted that Nacua’s choice to chop his long hair could be related to Sydney Sweeney.

So, where does The Housemaid star fit into all of this? While in New York for an interview with The Cosmopolitan magazine, Sweeney revealed the quality she looks for in a partner.
Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me. And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man.

Unless anyone’s been living under a rock, Sweeney has quickly become a household name, attracting both praise and controversy. Nacua seems well-informed about the 28-year-old. He wasted no time tossing his name into the ring for potential suitors with a playful tweet.

Football fans need no introduction to Nacua’s skills on the football field. In 2025, he ranked second among all receivers with 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns. His interest in skydiving is a recent discovery. That being said, it only increases his chances of dating an older woman.
Puka Nacua shared his disappointment over the Rams’ exit from the NFC Championship game
With Matthew Stafford in the twilight of his career, the Rams put together a strong offense to help him win another Super Bowl. LA brought in future HOF Davante Adams to complement Nacua and Stafford in the offense.

The Rams went 12-5 with Adams finishing as the league’s best touchdown getter (15). They took care of Carolina and Chicago in the playoffs to set up a showdown against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship. However, the first-seeded Seahawks edged out the competition by four points.
LA missed several key third downs and scoring opportunities, making it tougher to pull off the win.
Our first third-down play coming to me, and just not being able to come down with it. Thinking of the opportunities, man. Every play matters. And then, the plays that came to me and not being able to come down with them, and that’s what our team expects of me, and that’s what I expect of myself.

The season might not have ended the way he imagined, but he has the Pro Bowl to look forward to. He will be in San Francisco alongside CeeDee Lamb (replacing Jaxon Smith-Njigba), George Pickens, and Amon-Ra St. Brown to compete in the Pro Bowl games.
