Los Angeles Rams wideout Puka Nacua has caught the headlines boulevard with a controversial development in his personal life. The third-year NFL player and his longtime girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, who’s pregnant, seem to have had a lovers’ spat gone wrong.

Weeks ago, the pair appeared heavily in love with each other, and the recent development is far from two people in love. They were together a few weeks ago for the gender reveal, where the baby was confirmed as a boy. The couple even shared a kiss. 

As per TMZ Sports, Aiono has filed a petition in Los Angeles County, California to solidify the parental relationship of her unborn child and confirm that Nacua is the father.

According to the filing, Aiono is petitioning the court to establish Nacua as the legal father of the child. While she is requesting joint legal custody, she is also seeking sole physical custody following the child’s birth, with Nacua granted visitation rights.

Additionally, Aiono is requesting that the court order Nacua to contribute toward “reasonable expenses” associated with the pregnancy and childbirth, as well as cover her legal fees. 

What has led to the latest development is not known, except for the fact that it is a very recent incident that led to the same. Nacua’s agents have announced they have no comment on the situation at the time, while Aiono’s lawyers haven’t responded to the quote request from TMZ. 

The pair started dating sometime in 2021, but they waited long enough to hard launch their relationship. The world got a glimpse of the same after Nacua’s first touchdown, when Hallie Aiono shared a TikTok. Since then, they have gone out together on multiple instances, including Rams games and other sporting and non-sporting events like red carpets. 

As of now, the former dental assistant hasn’t scrubbed her Instagram, so the pictures of Puka Nacua can still be visible. Although there’s no clear reason, fans have guessed that this was coming for the past week. She recently posted a story featuring Rihanna’s “Higher” with the caption, “You’re the one I need,” which hinted, to many fans, that all wasn’t well.

The shocking revelation and the personal life crisis have occurred amidst a series of professional accolades for the young wide receiver. Puka Nacua, who has expressed his interest in hanging up the cleats at 30, caught football headlines after he let go of his number for the Rams’ offseason signing of Davante Adams.
