Puka Nacua once again proved that he is called a dual-sport star for a legend. And if his recent basket on the basketball court is any evidence, the Los Angeles Rams star is pretty good at what he does.
There have been very few instances in history where an athlete after leaving a sport at the peak of his career accomplished a triumph in another sport.
However, Nacua, who made his debut in the NFL last season with the Rams, is proof that if anyone can do it, it’s him.
After setting an all-time rookie record in both receptions with 105 and receiving yards with 1,486, the receiver went viral with his insane basketball skills on the basketball court, during the offseason.
A recent video went viral on the internet where Nacua can be seen executing a slick crossover dribble followed by a brilliant reverse layup. And fans have truly gone crazy over his mad basketball skills.
When the 22-year-old appeared in the 2023 NFL Draft, there hadn’t been a lot of high expectations from him, given he was making a career switch from the NBA to the NFL. But in his rookie year, Nacua established himself as one of the most prolific pass catchers in the league.
Having such success right after entering the league while also not having it as the first sport of interest truly proves Nacua is an elite athlete.
