Gilbert Arenas called out Jordan Poole for beef with Draymond Green
Three years after the initial incident Gilbert Arenas is tired of the Draymond Green and Jordan Poole saga. Despite brawls and disagreements being a part of teammates’ relationships, physical fights are certainly crossing lines. After Green punched Poole resulting in the latter’s trade, a beef started between the two. As Arenas had enough of it, he suggested an aggressive solution to conclude the fight.
When the news of the incident first came out, it sent shockwaves in the NBA world. It led to Jordan Poole parting ways with the team within a year. It seems that the star has held grudges towards Draymond Green to this day. As Green has apologized multiple times, Gilbert Arenas is frustrated with Poole’s repeated complaining. Arenas bizarrely suggested that Green should repeat his hostile actions.
Draymond, if you want him to stop, all you have to do is just say, ‘If that mother***er keeps saying this and bringing this s**t up, imma punch his a** again. That’ll stop that s***.

Gilbert strangely stated that the altercation would stop Poole’s actions. After mocking Poole’s skills compared to Green, the former athlete also claimed that the Warriors veteran does not have to feel guilty for the second act. The take came after Poole recently talked about his love for ‘most’ of the players in the Warriors leading to an apology from Green.

After simply commenting on Twitter, Green also talked about the situation on his podcast. The four-time champion revealed that he has even apologized to Poole’s parents. The former DPOY asked the Wizards star to move on from the incident. The saga starting again in 2025 did not sit well with Gilbert, hence, he offered Green some advice. Poole, however, has never spoken about the incident publicly, despite taunting Green on the floor.
Gilbert Arenas even called out Jordan Poole’s father
Despite Jordan Poole being silent, his father was vocal about his feelings about Draymond Green. In 2023, Anthony Poole got into an online argument with Green, who abused the Warriors star on social media. Disappointed, the father even revealed that Green did not apologize to him or his wife. Arenas witnessing the Tweet, mocked Poole’s father stepping in for him.
According to Arenas, the team’s head coach Steve Kerr was the primary person to blame for the consequences of the punch. The former believed that Kerr should have come between the two players to solve the issue. During an episode of Gil’s Arena, at the time, Arenas had similar thoughts about Poole’s father. Rather than an online approach, Anthony Poole should have sat the duo down.

Arenas believed that Anthony Poole’s approach made his son look weak. The former player had issues with Poole not standing up for himself. But now, after watching the saga for almost three years, Arenas is taking Green’s side. The 43-year-old thinks that Poole has taken things too far.
