The Miz seems to be in a lot of trouble, considering that he is currently being haunted by The Wyatt Sicks. It is nearly impossible for the A-Lister to win a 6v1 fight. Thus, he was looking for some backup on the latest episode of Raw and turned to his old friend, R-Truth.
During the latest episode of Raw, Truth was seen hanging out with Alpha Academy in a backstage segment. The 2x Grand Slam Champion walked up to them and apologized to his former tag team partner. He said that the former 24/7 Champion was his family, and he needed him in his fight against the Wyatt Sicks.
Maxxine Dupri told the legend not to fall for the former WWE Champion’s words. However, R-Truth told her that it was between them. He said that the Awesome Truth was back. As such, they dapped together and did their little dance.
The 52-year-old then said that he had something for his friend. He turned towards his pocket and then punched the Hollywood superstar in the face. Truth wished him well with the Wyatts and told him that he was going to die.
Although The Miz may not have gotten support from Truth in his fight against the Wyatt Sicks, he does, however, have the support of the Final Testament. Paul Ellering even sacrificed himself last week on Raw to save him from Uncle Howdy.
The Miz justifies his heel turn against R-Truth
On the September 30th, 2024 edition of Raw, The Miz turned on R-Truth. At the show, Awesome Truth faced the Authors of Pain in a tag team match. During the match, the 52-year-old tagged in his partner. However, rather than going after the former NXT Tag Team Champions, the A-Lister blasted his own partner and walked away. AOP then double-teamed on the former United States Champion and picked up an easy win.

Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, The Miz explained the reasoning behind his actions. He claimed that he was the good guy in the situation and that Truth had been the heel this whole time. The 44-year-old said that he had been put through a lot by his former tag team partner, and he deserved everything that came his way.
I feel like I’m a good guy. I’ve done everything right. R-Truth is the one that has been the heel the whole time, in my opinion. You don’t believe me? I mean, the guy has put me through so much. So much.
