Rafael Nadal aces past Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer in this ‘All-Time’ record
Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer
Rafael Nadal has proved his dominance for over 15 years on the ATP Tour. The 34-year-old only seems to solidify himself further as a force to be reckoned with. Just this past year, Rafa claimed his 13th Roland Garros title. Further, he recorded his one thousandth match win at Paris Masters.
His form has only been elevated by the presence of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. Both have given Nadal his fair share of troubles on the court and continue to do so. However, Nadal has achieved a remarkable record over Nole and Federer.
Rafa leads this elite list
The 34-year-old has the highest match win rate of any male player who has contended in the Open Era. Nadal has a recorded win rate of 83.1%. This puts him atop every other male player. Djokovic trails behind Rafa with an impressive 82.9% win rate. At the fourth spot is Roger with 82.1%. The Swiss Maestro is likely to overtake Bjorn Borg who has a win rate of 82.4%.
Further, Rafa and Federer enjoy the title of having the most number of Grand Slam titles in the men’s tour. The duo have a record 20 Majors each. ‘The Big Three’ will be seen competing at the Australian Open 2021. Every record is up for grabs till the trio bid adieu to the sport.
