Rafael Nadal remains one of the greatest players to have graced the tennis court. With titles to prove his quality and his competitiveness, he has been a consistent player for over two decades in the sport. However, Nnadal recently shared some of his regrets about his professional career.

Nadal has never had it easy in his career, with several injuries always hampering his continuity. Nevertheless, the Spaniard still gave his best. He has won a remarkable 92 titles, including 22 Grand Slams, with 14 of those coming at the French Open. He has also won two Olympic gold medals.

Recently, Nadal has struggled with injuries. He has been forced to pull out of tournaments several times. When announcing his precision to retire, he stated that he was satisfied with his accomplishments. However, the 38-year-old has also stated that he’d regret some of the decisions he made in his career.

I regret it. I have always tried to do things as I felt them and with a good intention. And that I was wrong? That I have made decisions that have led me to have more problems? Yes, but it has also worked out well for me many times and I have ended up winning very important tournaments. It is always difficult to find the perfect balance, but of course, if I went back now, well, I would tell you exactly the points in which I would not repeat what I did.

Meanwhile, Nadal recently competed at the Six Kings Slam tournament in Saudi Arabia. He finished fourth in the exhibition event and lost both his matches, to Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals and to Novak Djokovic in the third-place match.
