Roger Federer recently released his documentary “Federer: Twelve Final Days” on Amazon Prime. It has been a day since the release and the fans have already poured many positive comments and reviews. The film chronicles the final few days of Federer’s career up to the legendary Laver Cup match. 

The 2022 Laver Cup cannot be mentioned without the presence of Rafael Nadal, who got emotional and shed some tears alongside Federer, making the whole tennis world cry along with them. The Spaniard doesn’t usually talk about that unforgettable weekend but recently posted an equally heartwarming post.

Nadal posted a couple of pictures about his 2022 time at the Laver Cup alongside Federer, before congratulating him for releasing his latest documentary.

Roger Federer shed light on not discussing the final moments with Rafael Nadal

Over the last few weeks, Roger Federer has made the headlines in the tennis world due to his new documentary ‘Federer: Twelve Final Days.” Speaking more about it, he pondered upon his connection with Rafael Nadal and their bond towards the end of his career.

From rivals to friends, these two have changed a lot over time all learning up to that Laver Cup doubles match against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe. It was Federer’s last professional match.

Reflecting on the incident, Federer revealed that he had never spoken about it with Nadal after that and had never even heard the Spaniard talk about it.

I am not sure, I actually never talked to him about it. I never heard him speak about it other than just saying like, I don't know, it was just a hard moment

Now, both the players cherish the time and continue to thrive in what they are doing currently. While Federer is enjoying retirement, Nadal looks to end his career on a high.
