Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal dominated the sport for over a decade and made it competitive like never before. With Federer already retired and Nadal in one of his final seasons, both now look past their achievements and titles on the court. During an emotional ceremony at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Majorca, Nadal shared a recent chat he had with Federer.

A total of 52 new graduates from the Academy, along with other young students, teachers, and families, listened to the 38-year-old’s address. Nadal revealed that he visited the Italian Dolomites with Roger Federer and had a great discussion with the Swiss legend about their “legacy.”

Yes, it's very good to be recognized for our successes, our titles and our records. But this is only temporary, because over the course of history, others will likely surpass them. What is important is what is remembered forever. That's why Roger and I agree that we would like to be remembered as good people.

The Spaniard mentioned that despite their remarkable achievements, titles, and records which will eventually be surpassed, they want ultimately to be remembered as good people.

However, Nadal will not be competing at the Wimbledon championship because the Olympics will be played at the Roland Garros. The 38-year-old is taking precautions to limit injuries and worries ahead of the prestigious tournament.

On the other hand, Alcaraz has now limited his focus to three tournaments for now after winning the French Open. The 21-year-old will play at the Queen’s, Wimbledon and Olympics. He will be hoping to defend his Wimbledon championship which starts on July 1.
