Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson’s son, Raja Jackson, became embroiled in a major controversy. The 25-year-old was involved in a violent altercation, assaulting wrestler Stuart Smith during a live Knockx Wrestling Entertainment event. Shockingly, Raja streamed the entire incident on KICK, where many watched and expressed outrage over his reckless behavior.
Among the critics was well-known MMA content creator MMA Guru, who harshly labeled Raja Jackson a “dumb animal with no impulse control.” Guru released multiple breakdown videos online, even launching a campaign demanding Jackson’s arrest on serious charges like attempted murder.
In response, Rampage Jackson addressed the backlash through his social media, accusing MMA Guru of displaying blatant unprofessionalism.
People like MMA GURU. That guy is supposed to be a journalist and his racism came out…Some people f**k up, some people do sh*t. It shouldn’t get turned into race. I don’t want to repeat what he said, but he showed his racism. I don’t care about racist people but MMA GURU, he has a platform and he should say neutral.

Guru has faced repeated allegations of racist behavior, with fans accusing him of making derogatory comments toward fighters of diverse backgrounds. One notable controversy involved Guru allegedly using offensive language on Michael Chandler’s family, which sparked significant backlash.
The MMA content creator has also initiated outrage for his repeated rants targeting Dagestani fighters, including harsh criticism of Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

He often dismisses their dominance as “boring wrestling,” claiming their fighting style ruins excitement in the sport, angering many fans. Additionally, he drew criticism after targeting female MMA analyst Nina Drama, igniting debates about sexism in the community.
These repeated controversies have severely tarnished MMA Guru’s reputation among fighters and fans, prompting widespread calls for greater accountability measures. However, despite criticism, Guru maintains a loyal audience base that consistently supports his outspoken opinions, fueling his motivation to continue.
MMA Guru responds to Rampage Jackson’s accusations
The altercation began after a heated exchange backstage, where Stuart Smith allegedly mocked Raja Jackson during a promotional segment. Infuriated by the comments, Jackson retaliated violently, storming the ring and attacking Smith, an army veteran using wrestling to battle PTSD. He landed over twenty brutal, unanswered punches, leaving Smith helpless and unable to defend himself from the onslaught.

As a result, Smith sustained multiple severe injuries, including several broken facial bones and teeth, requiring immediate medical attention and surgery. Rampage Jackson addressed this and didn’t defend his son, and shared concerns for Smith. However, his comments on Guru did attract a response from the YouTuber on social media.

Guru criticized Rampage Jackson for bowling and streaming on KICK, while his son could face potential jail time for violent actions. The YouTuber also slammed UFC experts and fans for defending Raja instead of condemning his reckless and dangerous behavior. Among those criticized were Chael Sonnen and Sean Strickland, who addressed the controversy without any condemnation.
Strickland argued Raja shouldn’t go to jail but deserves a chance to improve and learn from serious mistakes made publicly. However, this statement angered many fans, especially since Strickland is currently suspended for attacking a fighter during an MMA event.
