Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is an ex-UFC champ and one of Pride FC’s top stars. He also has a minor stint transitioning into acting roles. Over the years, the fighter has controversially clashed with many entities. These include UFC, Reebok, Juanito Ibarra, PRIDE FC, and Dana White most of all. However, he does hold a deep reverence for the UFC head honcho.

‘Rampage’ Jackson has had many issues with White over the years, the prime of them being fight purses and lack of PPV points. In 2012, Ryan Bader edged an injured Jackson to a decision win at UFC 144. He later revealed White pinning him for an apparent lack of enthusiasm killed his love for fighting. Nevertheless, Jackson always respected the UFC CEO for the help he received from White.

I'mma tell you something...reason why I respect Dana - Dana was the only mother*cker there helping me. Dana took care of me... That's why no matter if we don't see eye to eye, Dana knows that deep down I respect him... Dana has my back...

Speaking on the ‘JAXXON’ podcast, he told lightweight Bobby Green and co-host Bear Degidio that Dana White helped him in 2008. He was involved in quite a police chase with his ’08 Ford Super Duty, which got him arrested. He led police on a chase from Newport Beach, California, thinking his friend “Brian” was about to kill himself.

Orange County District Attorney spokesperson Farrah Emami told MMA Junkie that a woman sued him for apparent miscarriage in the hit and run. It was in civil court in May 2009, but she withdrew her claim later. White rushed to his aid and paid $25,000 bail to get him out. This is one of the reasons why Jackson has huge respect for the UFC CEO. Dedidio and Green were surprised by the story, and the UFC lightweight shared his story as well.

Bobby Green reiterates how Dana White and Co. paid for his brother’s funeral

Lightweight veteran Bobby ‘King’ Green came on the JAXXON Podcast after his epic UFC 300 performance. Green has a good chemistry with Rampage and Bear Degidio. As such, he has made multiple appearances on the podcast. While listening to Rampage’s story about Dana White’s help, Green shared a story about White paying for his brother’s funeral.

Green shared that he made some money and chose to spend it all on his personal life. However, the unfortunate death of his brother left him with no money.

[To Rampage Jackson's story] Yeah, same with me is when my brother got killed...at the time I think I just got in UFC, you know...I went and bought my ring girl a ring, proposed to her...I paid the rent off for the whole year to make sure she'd be safe, she was getting ready to have the baby...so my brother gets killed and I don't got enough money for his funeral. UFC — they paid for that...I'll never forget that.

Green’s younger brother, Mitchell Davis Jr., was a victim of a drive-by shooting, which he could not survive. Also, the fighter at that time did not have sufficient funds for his funeral. Green said the UFC, under White’s watchful eye, helped with the expenses. Concurrently, he says he’ll always be grateful for the matter.
