Randy Moss, Hall of Fame wideout, announced on Sunday that he is fighting an internal health battle. The seasoned player and analyst also took a leave of absence from ESPN to focus on health.

Randy Moss played 14 seasons in the NFL, representing the Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers. He ranks second only to Jerry Rice with 156 touchdown receptions and recorded 982 career catches for 15,292 yards. Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

Moss, 47, took to Instagram on Sunday, asking fans to pray for him and his family. Addressing men specifically, he emphasized the importance of regular checkups and bloodwork but did not disclose details about his condition. He also addressed the recent video that surfaced showing Moss with a yellowish tint in his eyes.

Even former Vikings player Brett Favre stated that Moss is undergoing treatment for cancer.

Thaddeus also acknowledged that his father doesn’t speak personally to Fitzgerald Jr. and advised himself to check his sources.
